Wye Oak comes to Falstaffs

If you think ‘Wye Oak’ is just the state tree of Maryland, then think again. Wye Oak is an Indie-Folk crowd pleasing duo coming to Falstaffs on March 4th. With four albums under their belts they are quite experienced in the music makin’, performance havin’ area of life. Mixing dreamy-pop elements under layers of guitar, drums, and a sometimes catchy, sometimes hidden, chorus, Wye Oak is not a band you will want to miss out on.

Not only have they made it through several tours and several albums, but they are now members of the SASQUATCH 2011 line-up (they have also played at festivals like SXSW), plus their new entire album is available to stream on NPR. Talk about cool.

Their fourth album, Civilian (2011) is out on Merge Records.
